Gold Projects in Queensland Australia

Lynd River, Sybil Graben & Mungana Projects
These projects are located inland to the West of the port city of Cairns, Northern Queensland, Australia. Sub-economic gold deposits occur in two of the three project areas and reinforce the prospectivity of the geological terrain in this part of north-eastern Australia. A consistent bismuth-molybdenum-tellurium-tungsten geochemical association suggests that even though mineralization styles vary from mesothermal porphyry to high level epithermal they belong to a common regional multiphase mineralizing system.

Project Highlights

Anastasia Hill
Lynd River: In 01-08 Queensland Minerals announced a gold-copper discovery at the Anastasia Project and commenced step out drilling to determine the extent of the known mineralization. View Project Details

Reedy Creek: Queensland Minerals expanded the Anastasia land package with an option on the Reedy Creek project and commenced driiling at priority targets, Sulphide Cap and Firegrass Creek. View Project Details

Sybil Graben: In 01-08 Queensland Minerals announced encouraging results from the Sybil Graben Project and continues drilling to test the epithermal veins at depth and along strike for continuing epithermal gold mineralization. View Project Details

Mungana: In 04-08 Queensland Minerals announced encouraging results at Dingo Peak with better grade and thinkness parameters than previous shallow drilling. View Project Details
